Q.01 What is the difference between a profile and a preset.
A preset is a saved set of sliders — exposure, contrast, saturation. A profile is a colour lookup table that tells Lightroom how to render RAW data from your sensor in the first place. Profiles are the engine, presets are the dashboard. Film Studio ships both, so you get the look at its base and the room to customise.
Q.02 Which cameras are supported.
Every camera Lightroom supports. Film Studio profiles are RAW-based and camera-agnostic, so they work on any brand and any model Adobe reads — Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Leica, Hasselblad, phone RAWs, all of it. No camera-specific variants to chase.
Q.03 Will this work on Lightroom mobile.
Yes. Profiles and presets sync through your Adobe Creative Cloud account, so once you install on desktop they appear on Lightroom mobile automatically. You do need a paid Adobe plan for sync — the free Lightroom mobile app cannot read custom profiles.

Q.05 Do I need to pay for updates.

Q.06 They're installed but not showing up. What do I do?
The most common reason presets don't appear in Lightroom is due to an incomplete installation. Please double-check our Installation Guide, which is included with every order. It walks you through each step in detail, so it's really important to follow it carefully.
A key thing to check:
Make sure the Camera Profiles are also installed along with the presets. These profiles are essential for the presets to function properly and show up in Lightroom.
